Chain Wins Red Herring Top 100 North America Award

SAN FRANCISCO, June 20, 2017 – Chain is pleased to announce that it has been named a 2017 Red Herring Top 100 Company in North America.

Red Herring’s editors have been evaluating global technology startups for over two decades, giving them an uncanny ability to spot emerging leaders. Companies like Alibaba, Google, Skype, Spotify, Twitter and YouTube have all been awarded the Top 100 designation since Red Herring began its program in 1996. Technology industry executives, investors, and strategists value the Red Herring 100 list as an instrument for discovering the most promising private ventures from around the world.

Among thousands of entrants, Chain was one of several hundred companies selected to participate in an exhaustive review process. Companies were judged by industry experts, insiders and journalists on a wide variety of criteria including financial performance, innovation, business strategy and market penetration. Finalists were chosen last week following an intensive, two-day series of speeches, discussions and finalist presentations.

Following its North America win, Chain will compete for Red Herring Top 100 Global honors against the current class of award winners in Europe, Asia and North America.
